88 is a sharp archive default. 100 is the encoder’s maximum — still lossy for JPG, WebP, and AVIF.
Output
Conversion is local. We never store your files. Animated GIF and WebP keep the first frame. HEIC only works if this browser can decode it. EXIF is not copied into the new files.
